Privacy policy

1. Controller

The operator of the awis.group website and the controller of personal data is AWIS group, s. r. o., Závodská cesta 2945/38, 010 01 Žilina, Slovakia, company ID 45971943, registered in the Commercial Register of the Žilina District Court, section Sro, file no. 62487/L. For data protection matters, contact us at office@awis.group or on +421 908 414 810. We have not appointed a data protection officer – the GDPR does not require us to.

This policy applies to the awis.group website. The group's brands have their own websites and some are operated by other companies – they have their own privacy policies.

2. What data we process, why and for how long

• Messages from the Partnership form and email communication – name, email, and where provided organisation, phone, who you are and the content of your message. Purpose: to reply to you and prepare a partnership proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in communicating with partners. Retention: for the duration of the communication and no longer than 2 years after the last message if no contract is concluded.
• Interest in a job or part-time work – name, contact details, data from your CV and your message. Purpose: selecting people for a position or an event. Legal basis: steps taken before entering into a contract. Retention: until the selection is complete; with your consent we keep them for up to 1 year for future opportunities.
• Contracts and invoicing – identification, contact and billing details. Legal basis: performance of a contract and legal obligations. Retention: for the duration of the contract, accounting documents for 10 years from the end of the year, other data until the limitation periods expire.
• Website operation and security – IP address, time of request, visited address and browser type in server logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website and protection against misuse. Retention: no longer than 30 days.

3. Cookies and analytics

The website only uses technically necessary cookies, which do not require consent. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. If we introduce them, it will only be with your consent and we will update this policy in advance. Fonts are loaded from our own server; links to social networks and brand websites do not send any data until you click on them.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. Only processors who provide hosting, email, IT and accounting for us have access to it, under a contract pursuant to Article 28 GDPR. If your message concerns a specific brand, we may pass it on to the company that operates it – only to the extent needed to reply. Data may also be provided to public authorities where required by law, and to legal or tax advisers bound by confidentiality. We process data in the EU; transfers outside the European Economic Area are only possible with appropriate safeguards under the GDPR.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Send your request to office@awis.group – we will handle it free of charge within one month at the latest. You can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk).

6. Further information

Providing data is voluntary; without contact details, however, we cannot reply to you. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects. We update this policy from time to time – the current version is always on this page.
